Stay-Cation Over

Currently watching a video called “The Realest Financial Advice I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me,”

Why? Because the past week and a half has been filled with preparing for my final presentation at my last rotation site and... Netflix. *Hides face in shame* I binge watched 2 seasons of a show called “The 100”. So my level of productivity in business has been... stagnant to say the least. So I’m watching this video to feel inspired.

Howeveeeeerrrr, I had some wins these past few weeks because I serve a gooood God so even in my lazy days, he’s still working!

So my final presentation went Ah-mazinggggg to say the least. Last Thursday (writing this on Monday) I left my site on a HIGH. Not sure what it feels like to be high on drugs, but I can imagine the feeling I had that Thursday is comparable. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet moment because this past site was the best site that I have had thus far. I really enjoyed the people that I worked with, coming from a site that I dreadedddd going in to work everyday, my expectations were low to say the least. I am definitely going to miss some of the providers and pharmacists I worked with, but this just means one step closer to graduation.

So I reached out to a few IG influencers to promote some Cevon products and I’ll just be real with you, only one person got back to me. LOL. Sometimes, it’s hit and miss, but I’m rejoicing over the one because its been great so far. That point about being consistent? Um, yea I haven't posted since Labor Day weekend... no excuse its just me. I sent out a few emails to some organizations about a collaboration last month and I finally received a response, so I’m working on closing some deals and also reaching out to more organizations. Sometimes I feel like I’m a bit hard on myself as if I’m not doing enough when I know I can do more and I just need to sit up. But, when I speak to like-minded friends they give me that encouragement that I’m doing great and to keep on keeping on. That is why it is so important to surround yourself with like-minded individuals. If you are the smartest person in your group of friends, you need to find another group of friends.

I was lucky enough to have a 4 day weekend and even more fortunate enough that it happened to fall on the same weekend my best friend from LA was coming into town to visit lil ol’ Onyeka in lil ol’ Tallahassee. Can you believe? I actually don’t know how I’m going to go back to work tomorrow because this mini stay-cation I’ve been on has been sooo relieving and stress-free. Chei! This is how I know God wants me to be wealthy in this life man. My money is going to work for me, I cannot, I REPEAT CANNOT, allow my time to work for money. *Sips figurative champagne*

Back to reality tomorrow.
